Deadlines for Applications
- Early Bird Deadline: 15 March 2017
- Ultimate Deadline: 1 May 2017
The deadline for application is 1 May 2017. Accepted candidates paying the tuition fee two weeks after having been accepted are eligible for a €100 discount.
Early Bird deadline: Candidates applying before 15 March 2017 will receive a 10% Early Bird reduction provided that they are accepted and pay before 31 March 2017.
The tuition fee for the Summer School 2017 has been set at:
- €1775: current students from the EU or EHEA;
- €1995: all other applicants.
The tuition fee includes: course material, access to online platform, daily breakfast in Brussels, daily lunch in Brussels and Vienna, flight from Brussels to Vienna on Sunday 9 July 2017 and study visits.
The tuition fee does not include: accommodation, daily breakfast in Vienna, evening meals, flights to Brussels and from Vienna.
Tuition Fee Waivers
The Institute for European Studies will grant a limited amount of tuition waivers in the form of reduced tuition fees. Stipends are attributed on the basis of merit and motivation. They are in general, but not exclusively, granted to prospective students from economically less advanced countries. If you think you may be eligible for such a reduction, you will need to provide the following supporting documents as part of your application to the programme:
- a motivation letter
- a recommendation letter
- a transcript of your academic records
More than 45 days before arrival: no cancellation charges
Between 45 and 30 days before arrival: 50% cancellation charges
Between 30 and 15 days before arrival: 75% cancellation charges
Less than 15 days before arrival: 100% cancellation charges
